The police has solved the case of death of Dilip Yadav, a youth from Ballia (UP), in the Hazratpur firing incident of Rampurhari police station in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. He shot himself after the girl’s side rejected him in his love affair. He has written the entire story in the suicide note found in Dilip’s pocket. The FSL team has made it clear in its investigation that the cartridges found in Dilip’s pocket and the shell found in the pistol are of the same bore and brand. The bullet was also fired from the pistol found at the spot. Dilip shot himself with his right hand by putting the bullet on his chest.
On the statement of uncle Chandrama Yadav, the police on Monday registered an FIR accusing the girl’s side of instigating Dilip to commit suicide. SHO Sujit Mishra said that Dilip committed suicide because his girlfriend’s family rejected him. One suicide note has been found, while the other was left at his home in Ballia. This was also mentioned in the suicide note found in his pocket. Dilip was originally a resident of Daya Chhapra village in Ballia, UP. His uncle has told the police that Dilip used to work in a call center.
He had a ticket to return to Mumbai on Monday. Before this he had come to meet his girlfriend who lives in Hazratpur. Here he was treated with hatred. Hurt by this he shot himself. During police investigation, local representatives have told that dozens of people from Hazratpur area live with their families and do business in Mumbai. Dilip also lived in the same area. He had a relationship with a girl. When the love affair between the two was discovered, the girl’s family sent her back to the village.
Dilip did not have one leg, so the girl’s family did not want to marry him. Police investigation has also revealed that Dilip came alone. There was no other youth with him on the bike. Citing the suicide note, police officials have said that Dilip had come with the determination that if his girlfriend’s family rejects him, he will commit suicide in her village.
