Hemant Soren Oath Ceremony: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren will take oath as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand in a grand ceremony at Morabadi Ground in Ranchi today i.e. on Thursday. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar will administer him the oath at 4 pm. Congress General Secretary and Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that Hemant Soren will take oath alone and will expand his cabinet after the trust vote in the Assembly. The event will be attended by many important personalities, including key members of the India Alliance.

Hemant Soren, who arrived on Wednesday to take stock of the preparations for the swearing-in ceremony, said that it is a matter of great pleasure to have so many respected leaders with us on this important occasion. Posters regarding the event have been put up across the city and special security and traffic arrangements have also been made for the grand function.
Let us inform that this will be the fourth term of Soren as the Chief Minister of the state after winning the Barhet seat by defeating BJP’s Gamlil Hembrom by a margin of 39,791 votes in the recently held assembly elections. Soren’s JMM-led alliance secured 56 seats in the 81-member assembly, while the BJP-led NDA secured only 24 seats.
