Kanpur News: Allahabad High Court has stayed the arrest of ACP Mohsin Khan. Besides, the High Court has also ordered a stay on the sexual exploitation case registered against him. This case is related to the allegations of sexual exploitation made by a research scholar student of Kanpur-based IIT. The student had lodged an FIR against Mohsin Khan at Kalyanpur police station in Kanpur on 12 December 2024.

Mohsin Khan is accused of sexually assaulting an IIT student. After this case he was transferred to the police headquarters. A four-member investigation committee has been formed under the supervision of DCP South, Ankita Sharma to investigate the matter. Allahabad High Court has fixed the next hearing of the case after 15 days.

Student raised questions on not being arrested

IIT Kanpur student has raised many questions regarding the non-arrest of ACP Mohsin Khan. Recently, when the student was produced before the court, she raised questions on the non-arrest and suspension of the ACP in this serious case. The victim said that the arrest is not being made so that ACP Mohsin Khan can get some relief from the court, and now the same seems to be happening. Actually, Mohsin Khan had approached the High Court to get the FIR canceled, after which his arrest was canceled by the High Court. Following the instructions of the High Court, all the reports related to this case have been sent to the prosecution. This matter was debated in the court on Thursday. According to media reports, ACP Mohsin Khan’s side was fought by well-known advocates Irfan Ullah and Vikram Singh, who has also been a lawyer in Irfan Solanki’s case and has been a former Advocate General.
