A large area in Bet Dwarka, Gujarat has been freed from illegal occupation.
Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court dismissed the petitions calling the illegal religious encroachments in Bet-Dwarka as the property of the Waqf Board. A total of 12 illegal religious encroachments were done by illegally occupying the name of Waqf on government land. After the decision of the High Court, the administration started the process of removing the encroachment. Let us know that for the last few months in Bet-Dwarka, bulldozers have been running continuously on the buildings built by illegal occupation of government lands. So far, the government has freed a large area from illegal occupation.
Gujarat High Court has all petitions
Petitions were filed in the Gujarat High Court to stop the campaign being run by the government at Bet Dwarka located in Devbhoomi Dwarka. These petitions challenged the demolition of the dargahs and mosques on government land by the administration. The High Court dismissed all these petitions, after which the bulldozers started running once again at mosques and dargahs located on government land in Bet Dwarka. Videos of bulldozers running on these buildings have also appeared in which it is seen how the land is being freed from encroachment.
A few days ago 7 islands were freed from illegal occupation
Let us know that a few days ago, 7 of the 21 uninhabited islands located in the sea area of Devbhoomi Dwarka district of Gujarat were freed from illegal occupation. This important step was taken by the joint efforts of the police and the forest department. These islands included saline chusana, sweet chusana, Ashaba, Dhoroyo, Dhabadhbo, Samayani and Bhaidar, where a total of 36 religious and commercial constructions were removed. Especially 15 illegal constructions have been completely demolished on saline chusana and sweet chusana islands.
Many acres of land was freed from illegal possession
This action of the administration was taken keeping in mind India’s maritime security, as these islands are very important in terms of security. Officials had said that illegal constructions are being investigated on these islands. Action has been going on against encroachment in Devbhoomi Dwarka district for the last several months and so far several acres of land has been completely freed from illegal occupation. The Home Minister of the state Harsh Sanghvi also gave information on the X about the illegal occupation of these lands.
