Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has directed the State Selection Commission to declare the results of six pending posts before Diwali. Himachal Pradesh government said in a press release that these include 295 posts for Post Code 939 (JOA IT), 82 posts for Post Code 903 (JOA IT), Copy Holder Post Code 982, Workshop Instructor Post Code 992, Psychologist Post Code 994 and Workshop Instructor post code 997.

According to State Selection Commission officials, in the meeting, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu stressed the commitment of the state government to provide transparent and merit-based employment opportunities to the youth in the government sector. The announcement of the results of these six pending post codes will be a Diwali gift for the youth of the state seeking government jobs.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said the Cabinet subcommittee has approved declaring the results of 21 postcodes pending so far. Of these, results for postcodes 817, 999 and 969 have already been declared. We have given instructions to speed up the process of declaring results. We said that the results of six examinations should be declared before Diwali. The results of the remaining 12 postcodes will be declared in the month of November.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that from day one, the Himachal Pradesh government is continuously working for the welfare of government employees. The government had reinstated the old pension scheme in its first cabinet meeting. 1.36 lakh government employees benefited from this. Recently the government has increased dearness allowance by 4 percent. Salaries and pensions of all employees will be paid before Diwali by 28th October.
