The Congress government of Himachal Pradesh also seems to be following the path of Yogi Adityanath. The state government has now issued an order to require all hotels and restaurants in Himachal as well as fast food vendors to have identity cards.

Vikramaditya Singh, a minister in the Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh, is also seen following the path of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. After Yogi, he has also issued an order to require identity cards for all hotels and restaurants in Himachal as well as fast food vendors.

The Himachal government on Wednesday, September 25, ordered that names and addresses of operators, owners and managers should be displayed at all food establishments across the state in view of transparency and safety.

State minister Vikramaditya wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday, “In Himachal also, owner’s ID will be installed at every restaurant and fast food cart, so that people do not face any kind of problem. He said that instructions for this have been issued in the meeting of Urban Development and Municipal Corporation yesterday itself.”

Taking cognizance of incidents of spitting and urine being mixed in food items in the state, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed that the names and addresses of operators, owners and managers should be mandatorily displayed at all food outlets, reports Bhasha. The Chief Minister also directed that chefs and waiters should wear masks and gloves, besides making it mandatory to install CCTV cameras in hotels and restaurants.

Addressing a high-level meeting, Adityanath said the presence of human waste in food items is disgusting. He ordered strict action against those adulterating food items with human waste or dirty things.

Let us tell you that on September 12, in Saharanpur district, a video of a teenager spitting on a roti while making it in a hotel went viral on social media, after which the hotel owner was arrested. Last week, a juice seller in Ghaziabad was arrested for mixing urine in fruit juice and serving it to customers. In June, two people were arrested in Noida for allegedly selling juice contaminated with spit.

In view of such incidents, the Chief Minister has also given instructions for thorough investigation and verification of all the hotels, dhabas, restaurants and related establishments in the state.
