Case registered under Poxo Act
Hubli Police Commissioner N Sasikumar informed that Nitesh Kumar had tried to attack the police and escaped from police custody. He then damaged the police vehicle and threw stones at the policemen. In fact, last Sunday morning, the body of a 4-5 year old girl was recovered under a shed in Vijayanagar area under Ashoknagar police station area of Hubli-Dharwar. When the police investigated it, it was revealed that the girl was raped. After which he started searching for the accused and after it was found that Nitesh Kumar (35) is the accused in this. He was arrested and also accepted his crime. A case of murder and POCSO was registered on the basis of the complaint of the parents of the deceased girl. Initial investigation has revealed that the accused is a resident of Patna, the capital of Bihar.
