A heart-wrenching incident has taken place in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. A 38-year-old woman living in Badarwas of Kolaras subdivision here was murdered by her husband. It is being told that after killing his wife, the accused husband went straight to the police station and said that he has killed his wife. When the police reached the spot, they saw that the woman’s body had been stabbed about 50 times, due to which she died on the spot.
Before the incident, when Murari Jatav came home on Friday, his wife Chhoti Bai was alone at home. His younger son had gone to school and his daughter had gone to Shivpuri to participate in a Kabaddi competition on behalf of the school. Both the husband and wife were alone at home. In the afternoon, they had a fight over something. The husband started stabbing Chhoti Bai in anger and did not stop until she died. It is being told that Murari stabbed his wife more than 50 times.
Murari Jatav washed his hands and feet after killing his wife. After this, he went to a quack doctor and got his hand bandaged as he had got injured and reached the police station. After reaching the police station, the accused husband confessed to the murder and said that he had killed his wife. The police reached the spot and saw that Murari had a two-room house and in one of the rooms, his wife’s blood-soaked body was lying.
Bundel Singh Jatav, a resident of Bijrauni village, currently lived in Sakshi Garden in Ward No. 7 Ambedkar Colony of Badarwas. Murari Jatav’s wife Chhoti Bai lived in Badarwas with her three children. The elder son of this family worked outside and the younger son and daughter were studying. Murari lived in his village and did farming.
