Actually, the matter arose during the Question Hour. Congress MLA Khedawala, who represented the Jamalpur constituency of Ahmedabad city, on Monday asked about the situation of a proposed over-bridge, which is to pass through Muslim-dominated Juhapura and Sarkhej areas. He sought information related to the work of the bridge through a supplementary question. Minister of State Jagdish Vishwakarma replied that he needs the help of Khedawala to complete the work as 700 trucks, shops, kios, more than 1200 rickshaws and 11 garages have illegally encroached in the area.
The minister said that six religious encroachments of ‘a particular community’ are also there. The minister said that recently the ‘unauthorized’ office of Khedawala in Jamalpur was demolished. Vishwakarma said, “Whenever the state government removes encroachment, opposition members conspiracy to discredit the government with political maliciousness. Whenever we remove the encroachment, Congress members conspiracy to discredit the government with the intention of dominating social media and TV (channels). When the government removes the encroachment, please support it and do not stop it. ”
Khedawala complains to speaker

He said, “The way I was talking derogatory things by calling me a person of a community, Amitbhai (BJP MLA from Elisbridge Assembly constituency Amit P Shah) had spoken derogatory things recently.”
Khedwala further said, “I am the only Muslim MLA among 182 MLAs. As the only Muslim MLA, I demand protection from the Speaker of the Assembly. He said,” I raise issues of the society and people of Gujarat under the scope of the Constitution. Such (communal) comments should be avoided in the House. I am sad. “
