I will remain a Congressman till my last breath; Captain Ajay Singh Yadav's U-turn 2 days after resignation

After the Haryana Assembly elections, giving a big blow to the Congress, former minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav had resigned from the party on October 17. Yadav took this step alleging poor treatment towards him in the party. But now after just two days he has taken a U-turn on his decision.

Tagging Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on X, Captain Ajay Yadav wrote, “I am a Congressman by birth and will remain a Congressman till my last breath.” He said that he was angry with the high command for not appreciating his hard work in the OBC department and some harsh words forced him to resign. However, after careful consideration, he has decided to strengthen the party. Yadav also mentioned that he changed his decision at the behest of Sonia Gandhi and her son Chiranjeev Rao.

It is noteworthy that Yadav had expressed his displeasure during the meeting with Rahul Gandhi. It is said that he was dissatisfied due to not getting Lok Sabha ticket from Gurugram and neglect in Haryana Assembly elections. When he put forward his grievances during the meeting, Rahul Gandhi raised questions on his performance, which further hurt Yadav. A few hours later, he resigned from the primary membership of the party and expressed his displeasure on social media by pointing towards Rahul Gandhi.

However, Yadav had made up his mind to hold a press conference but his son Chiranjeev Rao explained, after which he did not hold a press conference. Let us tell you that Chiranjeev Rao is the son-in-law of RJD chief Lalu Yadav. Chiranjeev, who became MLA from Rewari in 2019, lost the election this time. Whereas his father Captain Ajay Yadav has also been an MLA from the same seat and a minister in the Haryana government.
