In Chhattisgarh, there was a debate over the loud music being played in the Ganesh pandal and the matter kept on escalating. The police tried to hush up the matter but it did not work out. The next day, the man committed suicide by hanging himself. He also left a suicide note.

A person committed suicide in Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The reason for suicide is the music played in Ganesh pandal. Actually Dhannu Lal Sahu, who lives in Hathkhoj area of old Bhilai police station area, had objection to the loud music being played in Ganesh pandal. When he complained about this to the pandal organizers, the matter got out of hand and an argument started. After this, the police explained and pacified the people of both sides, but in the morning it was known that Dhannu had committed suicide. After this, sensation spread in the area.
Heart disease, played loud music despite being stopped
Dhannu Lal Sahu lives with his family members. On Saturday night, he had objected to the loud sound of the speakers being played at the Ganesh pandal near his house. Sahu had also told the pandal committee that he had a heart disease. Despite this, people did not pay heed to his words and ignored him. Officials said that when the puja pandal committee did not pay heed to Sahu, he called the emergency police helpline number 112, after which policemen reached there.
The matter reached the police station, then the news of suicide came
After this, the police reached the spot and instructed the Pandal Committee to turn off the sound system and after pacifying both the parties, they left from there. Here the dispute between the people of both the sides continued. Seeing that the matter was not being settled, people from both the sides reached the police station. But none of them lodged a complaint there. After this, everyone went home. But then something happened which no one had even thought of. Officials said that on Sunday morning it was learned that Sahu committed suicide by hanging himself in his house.

When the police reached the spot, they found the body hanging from a noose in a room. The police also recovered a suicide note from the room. This letter is said to have been written by Sahu. In the letter, Sahu has accused the concerned pandal committee member Goldie Verma of harassing him. Police officials said that the police have registered a case and the matter is being investigated.
