A six-year-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a government school in Gujarat’s Dahod district. Giving information about this, Deputy Superintendent of Police JD Kansara said that when the girl did not return home from school on Thursday, her parents and relatives started looking for her and reached the school at night while searching for her. Where they found her in the premises behind the school building.

The police officer said that the girl was a first class student and studied in the primary school of Torani village in Singwad taluka. Her parents and relatives found her unconscious in the premises of the primary school. As soon as the girl was found, the family took her to the civil hospital in Limkheda, where the doctors declared her dead.

According to DSP Kansara, ‘We have registered a case of accidental death and sent the body for post-mortem to ascertain the real cause of death.’ Talking to reporters, a relative of the deceased girl said that the school gate was closed and they had to scale the compound wall to get in. The girl was found unconscious behind the school building.

The relative said that the girl was admitted to the school this year. On Thursday too, she left home with her school bag at 10 am and reached school on time. After school was over, all other students reached their homes, but this girl did not reach home, after which the family got worried and went out to look for their daughter.

On the other hand, Dahod police has started a serious investigation to find out the cause of the girl’s death under suspicious circumstances. A police convoy including the SP reached the spot at night and cordoned off the crime scene and started an investigation with the help of FSL.
