Why do earthquakes occur?
Earthquake is a sudden movement on the surface of the earth, which comes mostly due to the speed of tectonic plates.
The main reasons for earthquake occur?
The stir of tectonic plates: The outer layer of the Earth is divided into several tectonic plates. These plates continue to move very slowly. When two plates collide, slip, or go under each other, there is tension. When this stress becomes too much, it is released as a shock, this is the earthquake.
Stir on the fault line: There are some special cracks on the surface of the Earth called “faults”. The ground near these cracks is more unstable. When the tension stressed on the edges of these faults suddenly comes out, there is an earthquake there.
Volcano eruption: Volcano burst can also cause earthquakes in local form. These are called “volcanic earthquakes”.
