Gang rape of minor in front of friend.
Vadodara: An incident like the gang rape that took place in Pune, Maharashtra has also come to light in Vadodara city of Gujarat. There has been sensation in the area after the incident. It is being told that the three accused committed the incident at a secluded place on the outskirts of Vadodara city. Two of the three accused gang-raped the minor, while one of the accused held the victim’s friend captive. After the incident, the victim informed the police. Police reached the spot and took stock of the incident. Police say that teams have been formed for investigation.
Five people stopped on a deserted road
Vadodara (Rural) Superintendent of Police Rohan Anand said that the victim informed the police about the incident. The victim told the police that she had gone to meet her childhood friend in Lakshmipura area of the city at around 11 pm. SP Rohan Anand said, “They were returning from Bhayli area on a scooter when around midnight, five people on a two-wheeler stopped them on a deserted road.” He said, “Two of the accused The people left after the argument while the three accused stayed there. “Two of the three men raped the minor girl while the third man caught hold of her friend.”
The victim informed the police
SP Rohan Anand further said, “As soon as the criminals left the spot, the victim informed the police. Police reached the spot, cordoned off the area and collected evidence. “Teams have been formed to identify the criminals using technical surveillance and other means.” At present the police is investigating the matter. Police say that the accused will be arrested as soon as possible. (input- agency)
