Rajasthan Weather Update: The harshness of the weather is coming to the fore in Rajasthan. During the last 24 hours, rain with strong winds has been seen in various parts of Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in many districts of Rajasthan during the next 24 hours. However, the weather in Rajasthan is expected to remain clear and dry from October 23.
The Meteorological Department has warned of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms at isolated places in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer divisions of Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department has warned of thundershowers in different parts of Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jalore, Nagaur and Pali districts. During this period, rain along with strong winds can also be seen at some places.
During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain was seen at many places in Rajasthan. According to IMD, till Tuesday morning, light to moderate rain with thunderstorms was recorded at some places in the state. Maximum rainfall of 43 mm was recorded in Banera (Bhilwara).
Just a day before, there was huge loss in the Bharatpur Fair of Rajasthan due to storm and rain in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Shri Jaswant Exhibition and Animal Fair was destroyed due to the weather. The giant swings installed in the fair had collapsed like a deck of cards and were razed to the ground. Not only this, the tents of about 70 percent of the shops were torn or blown away in the strong storm. Due to strong storm, rain and hailstorm, the goods kept in the shops got drenched. The circus tent set up in the fair was also blown away.
