The Himachal Pradesh government has given information about the initiatives to provide employment and jobs to the youth. The government said that the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission will declare the results of the examination taken for 446 posts under 24 different post codes. In this regard, instructions have been issued to the commission by the state government. This was given by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in a written reply to the question of MLA Sudhir Sharma. The Chief Minister said that the result of post code 817 has been declared by the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission. Apart from this, computer based test has been taken on 30 March 2024 for 162 posts of Operation Theater Assistant. As per the demand received from the Technical Education Department, advertisement has been issued for recruitment to 12 posts.
What did you say about the recruitment of art teachers?
The Chief Minister informed that a Cabinet Sub-Committee has been constituted in connection with the Art Teacher Post Code 980. Further action will be taken as per its recommendation. The Chief Minister said that the committee constituted by the government on 8 November 2023 gave a unanimous opinion in the meeting held on 6 December 2023 that the examination of Art Teacher has been tainted as the manuscript of the question papers was systematically sold before the examination. It is difficult to separate the tainted participants from the untainted participants and thus the validity of the result of the selection process has been lost.
Results of these posts will be declared
The posts for which the State Selection Commission will declare the results include 11 posts of Dispenser, 82 posts of JOA, 295 posts of JOA IT, Laboratory Assistant, Assistant Computer Programmer, Hostel Superintendent cum PTI, Assistant Chemist, Psychologist-cum-Rehabilitation Officer, Steno Typist, Workshop Instructor, Law Officer, JOA, Junior Scale Stenographer, Secretary Kinnaur District Marketing and Consumer Association Limited Tapri, besides three posts of Inspector Legal Metrology, two posts each of Fisheries Officer and Copy Holder, 8 posts of Workshop Instructor, 23 posts of JOA Accounts, three posts each of Junior Engineer and Conservation Assistant.
Initiative to provide employment to 10 thousand people in Nalagarh
The Himachal Pradesh government says that the Medical Device Park to be built in Nalagarh will provide direct and indirect employment to about 10 thousand people. The Medical Device Park is being built on 265 acres of land in Manjholi village panchayat of Nalagarh. No technical approvals are pending in its construction. This information was given by Industry Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan in response to a written question by Nalagarh MLA Hardeep Singh Baba. The Industry Minister said that about 65 industrial units will be set up in the Medical Device Park.
Construction work will be completed by 2025
The Industry Minister said that the state government is building this medical device park at its own expense and its construction work is expected to be completed by 31 December 2025. Let us tell you that the Sukhu government of the state has decided to return the Rs 30 crore received from the central government for this medical device park. The state government will raise one thousand crore rupees from its own resources for the construction of the bulk drug park. The Chief Minister himself had announced this recently.
2708 incidents of forest fire in six months
In the first six months of this year, 2708 incidents of forest fires have been reported in the state. No person has lost his life in these incidents. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu gave this information in a written reply to a joint question of MLAs Satpal Singh Satti, Bikram Singh and Indra Dat Lakhanpal. He said that six FIRs have been registered regarding forest fires, in which the involvement of eight persons has been found. Of these, three are in Kangra district, two in Chamba, while one person each has been found involved in Solan, Hamirpur and Shimla. The Chief Minister said that appropriate steps are being taken by the Forest Department to prevent incidents of forest fires. The Forest Department is equipped with fire fighting equipment to deal with fire. He also said that adequate legal provisions are available to take action against crimes related to forest fires and in such a situation there is no need to make a separate law.
