Let us tell you that till now about 7 people have died in Jamnagar due to floods and rain. At the same time, more than 500 cattle have lost their lives.
Water filled in the basement of the mall
To know the situation of devastation caused by flood and rain, India TV’s team first reached Badri Complex in Teen Batti Chowk area of Jamnagar. This is a mall like structure. On reaching here, we saw that water is still accumulated in the basement of the mall and a lot of dirt is visible. People whose shops were damaged are loading their goods in tractors and coming out.
Mud filled in the streets
After Badri Complex, we also went to the house of women named Aajra Najma and Halima located near Madina Mosque at some distance from there. Here our team saw that some NGOs were distributing some essential items related to daily life to the needy people. Here our team also discussed the situation with the women. After this we went to Ghachi Ki Khadki. Here people have left their homes and migrated to another place. People’s houses are completely filled with heaps of garbage and debris.
Bad condition after the rain
If we talk about the whole of Jamnagar, the situation has become so bad that everyone here is looking worried. Due to the waterlogging after the rain, normal life has been completely affected. While the common people are busy collecting the goods from their homes, all the goods in big malls and shops have also got spoiled due to waterlogging.
