Bihar Politics: A major and shocking dispute has emerged within the ruling JDU in Bihar. The fight between Bhagalpur MP Ajay Mandal and Gopalpur MLA Narendra Kumar Neeraj alias Gopal Mandal has now come out openly. After the FIR was lodged by the MP regarding a women’s party leader, MLA Gopal Mandal called a press conference and made more than one serious allegations against the MP, which has created a stir within the party.
Allegations ranging from opium cultivation to murder
On Thursday, MLA Gopal Mandal made a press of allegations on MP Ajay Mandal at a press conference. He said that even though the party has given ticket to Ajay Mandal, “I do not consider him as my MP.” He directly accused Ajay Mandal that he cultivates opium on 40 bighas of land. In addition, he also accused of murder and liquor business. Gopal Mandal said, “Ajay Mandal still committed crime. He shot and killed a young man. Many people were killed. If they are properly investigated, they will be trapped.” The MLA said that Ajay Mandal is not at all, he works in a wrong way and makes money. He also demanded an investigation of the woman with whom MPs roam. She raised the question that if she is the leader of the party, how can she do some work except the MLA.
MP Ajay Mandal reversed
After these allegations of the MLA, MP Ajay Mandal also replied immediately. He said that Gopal Mandal is making “ugly allegations” on him without any basis. He said, “Just filed an FIR, now we will answer in their language.” Ajay Mandal said that he will soon call the media and tell the whole thing and will also demand the party high command to exclude Gopal Mandal. This mutual quarrel has exposed the factionalism within JDU and this dispute may increase further in the coming days, which is sure to harm the image of the party.
