Jharkhand deoghar accident: In the month of Sawan, millions of Shiva devotees take part in the Kanwar Yatra, many of which also reach Vaidyanath Dham in Jharkhand. But this time a very sad news related to the Kandar Yatra has come. A major road accident occurred in Deoghar on Tuesday, in which 18 kanwadis have died and 20 were seriously injured. This incident is shocking to the heart.
How did the accident happen?
According to the police officer, a bus carrying Kanwari collided with a truck filled with gas cylinder. The accident occurred near Jamunia forest in Mohanpur police station area at around 4:30 am. There was a fierce collision between a 32 -seat bus and a gas cylinder carrying a gas cylinder.

Confirming the incident, BJP leader and regional MP Nishikant Dubey said that 18 kanvadis have died in it. He wrote on his X handle, “18 devotees died after a bus and truck crashed during the Kavad Yatra during Shravan month in my Lok Sabha constituency Deoghar. Baba Baidyanath ji gives his families the power to suffer grief.”

After the accident, the district administration has started rescue work and a rescue campaign is being carried out. The injured are being admitted to nearest hospitals and health centers. Many people have been seriously injured in the accident, due to which there is a possibility of further increase in the number of casualties.
