Jharkhand Election: After the end of voting in Jharkhand, tremendous uneasiness is being felt before the results. The contest between India and the NDA alliance in the state is so tough that even the political parties are finding it difficult to explain the results of all the seats. The results of the exit polls that came after voting on Wednesday have also increased the heartbeat of the leaders. In four exit polls, NDA has been shown getting the lead, while according to three exit polls, the India alliance can again show its strength. However, before the election results, the leaders of India and NDA alliance have claimed their respective victories.
There is a close contest between NDA and India alliance on about 15 seats in the state and the results of these seats will prove to be the deciding factor in Jharkhand. It is very difficult to understand the equation of victory and defeat on these seats. Political experts believe that the hopes of the India alliance rest on the performance of the Congress. If the performance of Congress candidates is good then the India alliance may be successful in showing its strength.
Government will decide the closely contested seats
After the end of voting in Jharkhand, now everyone is eagerly waiting for the counting of votes on Saturday. During this time’s assembly elections, both the camps have launched aggressive election campaigns and have left no stone unturned to attack each other. Although there has been a tough contest between the NDA and the Indian Alliance on most of the seats in the state, there are 15 assembly seats in which there is confusion regarding the results in view of the very close contest.
This time a close contest has been witnessed in the assembly seats like Hatia, Jamshedpur West, Sarath, Chandankiyari, Dumri and Bermo etc. The results of these seats will prove to be very decisive in deciding power.
Marandi claimed to have received the mandate
Before the announcement of results, BJP state president Babulal Marandi has claimed to form a new government in Jharkhand under the leadership of BJP. He said that this time the people of Jharkhand have voted in favor of BJP and NDA. He even claimed that NDA would be successful in winning 51 assembly seats in the state.
He said that this time the people of Jharkhand have given the mandate for a strong government and developed Jharkhand. This time the party will be successful in achieving victory due to the campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other national leaders of BJP. He said that a shocking result can also emerge from Barhet, the assembly constituency of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Chauhan hopes for change in the state
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who led the BJP’s election campaign in Jharkhand, said that we are going to form the government in Jharkhand with a clear majority. He said that I have been in Jharkhand for about three months in connection with the elections and I have covered almost all the areas of the state. During this time, I have seen a glimpse of change in the eyes of the people here. Therefore, I can say with full confidence that the people of the state have voted in favor of NDA and BJP.
Soren said- India alliance will win
On the other hand, Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM leader Hemant Soren said that all the exit polls predicting NDA government formation in the state will be proved wrong. He claimed that once again Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and India alliance government is going to be formed in the state. He said that on the basis of feedback and voting input received from the people during the election campaign, I can say that the India Alliance has received the blessings of the people of the state.
Soren said that during both the phases of the assembly elections, people have supported us to fulfill their expectations. This will become completely clear from the election results. He said that due to Maiyan Yojana, women have given full support to the India Alliance.
A lot depends on the performance of Congress
However, political experts believe that the strength of the India alliance will largely depend on the performance of the Congress. It will be interesting to see how the Congress candidates perform in their areas. If the Congress candidates are successful in showing their strength then the India alliance may overpower the NDA.
Along with this, Jairam Mahato has also made a strong siege of JMM on 10 seats. The outcome of these seats will also decide a lot.
In the beginning of the election campaign, BJP looked backward but later six big meetings and road shows of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have played a big role in changing the atmosphere. This is the reason why BJP leaders seem confident about the election results.
