Angered by this insult to the tricolor, Bajrang Dal submitted a written application to the Azamgarh police station. Earlier, similar news had come from Chhatarpur as well.

A case of insult to the tricolor has come to light from Ajaygarh town of Panna district of Madhya Pradesh. Ajaygarh police station in-charge informed that the tricolor was hoisted in the local Jama Masjid in which the Ashok Chakra was removed and Kalma was allegedly written in Arabic language. Angered by this insult to the tricolor, Bajrang Dal gave a written application to Azamgarh police station.
It was mentioned in it that on Tuesday, 17th September, in the big mosque located near Ajaygarh Nagar Parishad, an unknown person insulted the national flag by writing Kalma in Arabic language on it and hoisted it, thereby insulting the national flag of our country. It was also mentioned in this complaint letter that this tampering with the faith of the country is not right.
It is written in the application that there is a lot of anger in Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Hindu society due to this matter. There is also talk of investigating this matter and taking action against the culprits. Bajrang Dal has also warned that if action is not taken in this matter within three days, then a fierce protest will be carried out. Giving information in this matter, Ajaygarh police station in-charge said that on the basis of the complaint application received by Bajrang Dal, an FIR has been registered under the sections of insulting the tricolor. CCTV and other evidence is being scrutinized, after which further action will be taken by interrogating the responsible and guilty people.
Police station in-charge Ravi Jadoun said that Kuldeep Sonkar had given an application in the police station in which he had written that in Ajaygarh’s Jama Masjid, some unknown person removed the Ashoka Chakra from the tricolor flag and wrote something in Urdu or Arabic language on it. After investigation in the application, a case has been registered under Section 2 of the National Flag Insult Act 1971. At present, the accused is unknown. The accused will be arrested soon after investigation.
