The officer quoted the statement of the accused’s daughter as saying that Gohail had initially given a ‘medicine’ to his son Om and 15 -year -old daughter Jia at their home in Bapunagar area of ​​Ahmedabad to stop vomiting.

Sodium nitrite mixed in water to kill son

He told that after this he (Gohail) allegedly gave his son a sodium nitrite water. The officer said that the accused had planned to commit suicide after poisoning his children, but he got nervous after seeing his son’s deteriorating condition and ran away from home. He said that soon after drinking water, the boy started vomiting and his family members took him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Gohail lived with his two children, wife and parents. According to the FIR, he (Gohil) first gave medicine to his two children and then when his wife went out, he gave poison to his son.

Accused confessed crime

It was told in the FIR that after the arrest, the accused confessed to adding 30 grams of sodium nitrite to his son. The official said that a case has been registered against the father under Section 103 (1) (murder) of the Indian Code. He said that the body of the child was sent for post -mortem and the investigation of the case is going on. Let me tell you that before this, a Bangladeshi woman committed suicide in Vadodara, Gujarat. The girl studied at First Year Pharmacy at MS University in Vadodara. She came here to study here from the month of September. A suicide note has also been found from the woman but has not mentioned the reason for dying in it.
