Congress has announced the names of party candidates in the by-elections being held on all seven seats in Rajasthan. The party has given tickets to people related to the family on two seats in Jhunjhunu and Ramgarh. Whereas the worker has got the ticket from Dausa. But, the most shocking name is that of Khivasar assembly of Nagaur. From here, Congress has surprised the BJP leader’s wife by giving her a ticket. Dr. Ratan Chaudhary is the wife of retired DIG Sawai Singh Chaudhary. Ratan Chaudhary has been a doctor. He is a resident of Sinod village of Nagaur.
Let us tell you that Congress has fielded its own candidate on Khinvsar seat instead of allying with Hanuman Beniwal’s party RLP. Now Sawai Singh Chaudhary’s wife Ratan Chaudhary is the Congress candidate from Khinvsar seat. Sawai Singh had contested the 2018 assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Khinvsar, but lost to Hanuman Beniwal. After this he joined BJP in the last assembly elections.
Ratan Chaudhary had sought ticket from BJP, but did not get it. But, now Congress has given ticket to his wife in the by-election. In such a situation, BJP leader Sawai Singh Chaudhary resigned from BJP as soon as his wife Ratan Chaudhary got the ticket. He announced this late in the night itself. After midnight, Sawai Singh resigned from the primary membership of BJP after his wife Ratan Chaudhary got the ticket. He posted this information on his social media account.
