It is believed that Kumari Selja is upset with the party giving preference to Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Haryana. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see what will be Selja’s stand regarding Mallikarjun Kharge’s rally to be held in Ambala today. Let us tell you that voting is going to take place in Haryana on October 5. But Kumari Selja is not seen active on social media, let alone on the ground. However, there are reports from inside that the party leadership is making every effort to persuade her. In this sequence, a big rally is also planned.
Kumari Shailja is an MP from Sirsa. This is a district close to Ambala assembly constituency. If Shailja joins Kharge’s rally in Ambala and Gharaunda today, it will be very helpful for the party. Her presence will send a positive message especially to Dalit voters, which will be a matter of great relief for the Congress. According to inside sources, the battle of Haryana was considered quite easy for the Congress. But Shailja’s rally has created a problem for the Congress. It is believed that the BJP is trying to woo the angry Shailja. Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has already said that Dalit sisters have been insulted in the Congress. She can join the BJP if she wants.
At the same time, Congress wants to avoid making a big issue of Shailja keeping away from Haryana elections. On Sunday, the Congress leadership said that she is a committed Congressman. Very soon she will join the election campaign. According to the Times of India, a senior Congress worker said that Kumari Shailja has played a role in the selection of a dozen candidates. According to this worker, a big rally of Congress is going to be held in Haryana very soon. Rahul Gandhi will also be present in this rally. Apart from this, all the big names of Haryana Congress, such as Bhupinder Hooda, his son Deepender Hooda, Randeep Surjewala and Kumari Shailja will also be present.
The Congress worker also claimed that the news of Selja’s displeasure has been spread by the BJP camp. According to it, former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has a role in this who is setting the narrative against the Congress. On Saturday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said on a TV channel that Kumari Selja is a dedicated worker of the party. Congress does not need advice from the BJP.
