Ahmedabad: Union Minister of Home and Cooperation and MP from Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency Amit Shah will participate in the distribution program organized by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India on 18 May. The event will be held at AMC Ground in Naranpura, Ahmedabad. In this program, a total of 1067 machines and toolkits will be distributed to 1135 beneficiaries associated with KVIC.
CM Bhupendra Patel will also be present
On this occasion, new units set up under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) will also be inaugurated online. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, KVIC President Manoj Kumar will also be present in this program organized under the Village Industries Development Scheme.
On reaching Ahmedabad, KVIC President Manoj Kumar said that participants from various rural and urban areas of Gujarat will participate in this distribution program. All 1135 beneficiaries have been selected by the State Office, Ahmedabad and they have also been given training.
According to Manoj Kumar, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, KVIC has become a new power in the economy of rural India. By providing training and modern equipment to Indian artisans, they are being linked to ‘developed India campaign’.
Electric chalk will be given to 540 potters
In the same sequence, on Sunday, in this distribution program by Home Minister Amit Shah, 540 potters, electric chalk, 200 beneficiaries sewing machines, leather toolkit to 100 artisans, 30 beneficiaries to AC repairing toolkit, 30 artisans plumber toolkit, 40 artisans to 40 artisans, leather product manufacturing machines, 40 artisans, 40 artisans, 40 artisans, 40 artisans, 40 artisans Automation machines, 40 artisans will be distributed 04 set raw -grown oil manufacturing machines, as well as 50 new models Charkha (NMC) and 65 Bardoli Charkhas under Khadi Development Scheme.
