Lalu Yadav Ambedkar Controversy: The National Scheduled Castes Commission (NCSC) sent a notice to the Bihar government and Dr. B.B. R. Action has been sought on the news of insulting Ambedkar’s picture. The Commission has said that the government should give complete information about the matter within 15 days. According to media reports, a video of Lalu Prasad’s 78th birthday celebrations has gone viral on social media. It is being told in this video that Ambedkar’s picture was placed near his feet, which is considered abusive.
Complete information about the incident was sought from Bihar government
The National Scheduled Castes Commission has sought complete information from the Government of Bihar about the incident. This includes the date and cause of the incident, the names and addresses of the victim and the accused, the details of the FIR, the status of arrest and the progress of the investigation. The Commission has clearly stated that if the answer is not received within 15 days, it will use its strength under Article 338 of the Constitution. Under this rule, the Commission has the right to call people or their representatives with documents if needed.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan targeted Lalu Yadav
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also criticized Lalu Prasad Yadav in this case. He said that the former Chief Minister of Bihar has insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar and the people of the country and state will never forgive him. Chauhan said, “I am surprised why Lalu Prasad put the picture of Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar under his feet, who gave the constitution to the country. This made me very sad.”
Dispute due to camera angle
Shivraj Singh Chauhan showed a video of Lalu Prasad’s 78th birthday celebrations, saying that there was a picture of Ambedkar near Lalu’s feet. But RJD described the allegation as wrong and said that the person had held the picture in his hands. RJD accused the BJP that they are creating controversy only because of the camera angle. Shivraj said that this incident has raised questions about Lalu being a supporter of ‘social justice’ and people of Bihar and country will not forgive RJD.
