Many airports in the country have once again started receiving threatening emails. Today Vadodara and Rajkot airports of Gujarat have received bomb threats. Keeping in mind the safety of passengers, every nook and corner of both the airports is being searched.
Earlier on Friday, Jaipur Airport had received a bomb threat. Even then the email was sent to CISF after which a search operation was conducted. However, nothing suspicious was found and the threat proved to be just a rumour.
According to India Today report, this email came to CIF around 11 am. It is written in it, I have teased his ego and frustrated him. Ha ha ha ha! Result? Boom, boom and bangs! Big bangs! Don’t stop, don’t escape! Let the game begin. Jai Mahakal Jai Maa Adishakti”.
After receiving the email, senior officials of the police and airport administration reached the spot and a search operation was started. However nothing suspicious was found. According to the report, Vadodara Police Commissioner Narasimha Kumar said that similar threats have also been sent to many other airports in the country. A complaint has been registered on the appeal of the airport administration and investigation into the matter is ongoing.
