Having a picnic with loved ones and spending quality time together is one of the most beautiful moments. We keep the memories of these moments within us for a long time and keep reminiscing them from time to time. In Janjgir Champa district of Chhattisgarh, a group was also making such memories. It was a Sunday afternoon and a pond nearby. Everything was pleasant, but then suddenly nature changed its stance and disaster rained from the sky. A child died in this. Eight other people also became victims of the accident due to lightning.

It is being told that 22 people had come to celebrate picnic on the banks of the pond. Some of these people were sitting under a tree. Suddenly the weather changed and it started raining. Lightning was flashing intermittently in between the heavy rain. No one had even thought that any kind of mishap would happen here. Meanwhile, lightning struck the same tree under which people were sitting. Due to this, 11-year-old Chandrahas died on the spot while the other eight people got burnt.

The City Kotwali Police of Janjgir Champa has informed the media about this incident. In this accident, a child named Chandrahas Darvesh was badly burnt due to lightning. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. The injured were also admitted to the nearest hospital in a hurry. The condition of some people is said to be critical. The local administration and police immediately reached the spot and took stock of the situation and provided necessary assistance to the people. In this way, one child among the people who had gone for picnic died while the other eight people suffered deep wounds on their bodies. At the same time, deep wounds were inflicted on the hearts of these people’s loved ones, which remained unhealed for a long time.
