Accused Sachin Rajput is already married and has two children. He was in a relationship with a young woman for the last three years and both were living in Livin for the last eight months. Regarding the incident, DCP Shashank said that Ritika Sen used to live in Kushinagar Colony of Bajaria 29 years. At the same time, 32 -year -old accused Sachin Rajput is a resident of Vidisha. The two met four years ago during a job in a private company. Both of them first friendship and then the friendship gradually turned into love. After this, both came into a relationship.
Ritika and Sachin were in relationship for three years. The last eight months ago, both of them decided to live together and started living together in Livin in Bhopal itself. Ritika Sen used to work in a private company. Sachin suspected that Ritika was having an affair with her boss. Sachin told the police that Ritika often used to talk to her boss on the phone. There was a lot of quarrel between the two.
On 27 June 2025, there was a lot of fight between the two on the same matter. The matter increased so much that angry Sachin strangled Ritika. Due to which he died. Sachin got scared after Ritika’s death. He wrapped the body in a sheet and placed it on the bed and slept with the body for two days. On the third day, Sachin drank alcohol and called drunk friend Anuj Chaudhary and told the whole incident. His friend was stunned to hear Sachin’s words. He immediately informed the police.
