Lucknow News: The third day of Repertva Festival Season 12 started with the slam poetry of Laksh Maheshwari on the literary stage followed by the melodious tunes of popular lyricist and story writer Rahgir who mesmerized the audience. The festival took a major turn when literary legend Javed Akhtar came on stage to interact with Roshan Abbas in which he highlighted the importance and relevance of literature and poetry in the society.
The festival evening was filled with laughter when renowned comedian Harsh Gujral took to the stage with his comic excellence, followed by ‘Runaway Brides’, a tragic theater comedy play directed by Faizeh Jalali starring Bollywood actor’s son Junaid Khan.

Once again the Funkar Stage highlighted local and emerging artistes who showcased their talents to the festival audience. Day 3 concluded with the sensational grooves and beats of DJ Karan Kanchan who energized the audience with his upbeat Bollywood numbers. Started as a theater festival in 2009, Repertava Festival is India’s most unique performing arts festival that brings together theatre, music, literature, comedy, food and craft market under one roof.
