In this series, 56-year-old Roma Hemwani set a new record. He created a new world record by meditating underwater for 1 hour 24 minutes, which was established on the occasion of World Meditation Day. This achievement has been recorded in the ‘Yogasana Book of World Records’.
After registering the record, Roma told Newstrack that he was very happy. It seems that years of penance have yielded results. It was not easy to meditate for so long in this cold water. This became possible due to strong will power and blessings of Guru. I was trying to make this record for a long time. The result of which I have got today. Used to practice under water for one to one and a half hours every day. Meditating while holding your breath for such a long time underwater is a very difficult task in itself.
He told that he started learning swimming at the age of 28. And during this time he developed interest in doing yoga under water. She holds her breath while doing yoga underwater. This is a very difficult task. His guru Amarjeet Yadav has given him training in such a way that he does not face any problem in this. She can do all types of yoga poses easily under water. Roma said that the purpose of making the record of underwater meditation is to make the youth aware about it.
