Maharashtra Cabinet Expansion: The first cabinet expansion of Maharashtra’s Fadnavis government is taking place in Nagpur today. Here the ministers are being administered the oath of office and secrecy by the Governor. Around 32 ministers are likely to take oath during this period. Sources said that this cabinet expansion will be for two and a half years only. Many senior BJP leaders including CM Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari are present. Let us tell you that after almost 33 years, the swearing in ceremony of the state cabinet is taking place in Nagpur.
He was administered the oath of office as minister.
Here Chandrashekhar Bawankule was the first to take oath as minister. He had earlier been the Energy Minister in the Devendra Fadnavis government. His assembly ticket was also canceled in 2019. After this, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil took oath, he is taking oath as minister for the second consecutive time. He is from North Maharashtra, belonging to the Maratha community.
– NCP leader Hashan Mushrif has been sworn in as minister, he is the only one from Muslim community. He has become a minister from NCP Ajit Pawar’s quota.
– Chandrakant Patil has also been administered the oath of office as minister. He is a strong leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. He has also been the state president of BJP.
– Girish Mahajan is considered very close to Devendra Fadnavis, he is also called his troubleshooter. Many allegations have been made against him also. He is from North Maharashtra.
– Gulab Rao Patil is from Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde faction. He has been made minister again continuously. He was considered very close to Uddhav Thackeray, but he had joined hands with Eknath Shinde.
– Ganesh Naik, he is an MLA from Navi Mumbai and comes from a backward society.
– Dada Bhuse, he is considered very close to Eknath Shinde. He is an MLA from Malegaon. Eknath has also been a minister in the Shinde government. He has got this opportunity for the second time in a row.
Sanjay Rathore is the leader of Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde faction. Many serious allegations were also made against him. BJP had earlier opposed his appointment as a minister. They come from backward society.
– Dhananjay Munde is the leader of NCP Ajit Pawar.
– Mangal Prabhat Lodha has been the President of Mumbai BJP. Is MLA from Malabar Hill Assembly. He is considered very close to Devendra Fadnavis, he has been given a chance once again. He has also held many positions in the BJP organization.
– Uday Samant is very close to Eknath Shinde. He joined NCP from Congress and then Shiv Sena. Uddhav was also a minister in the Thackeray cabinet and after this he was also a minister in the Eknath Shinde government. Now once again he has been given a chance.
– Jaikumar Rawal, he is a senior leader of BJP. Are from tribal area. Devendra has been a minister in the Fadnavis government.
Pankaja Munde is a senior BJP leader. After losing the Lok Sabha elections, he was sent to the Legislative Council. He was given a chance to become a minister again.
Atul Save is a leader of BJP. His father became the first mayor and first MP from Shiv Sena.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reached Nagpur on Sunday. During this time his wife Amrita Fadnavis was also with him. Here flowers were offered on the statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. CM Fadnavis said that Nagpur city is my family.
