Maharashtra Election 2024: Political intrigue has intensified regarding the assembly elections in Maharashtra. In this series, Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has released its manifesto on Wednesday. MVA has issued five guarantees in its manifesto including financial assistance, loan waiver, unemployment and health insurance.
Leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi (Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP Sharad Pawar) alliance organized Maharashtra Swabhiman Sabha on Wednesday. During this, the leaders of the alliance released their election manifesto. Five guarantees have been mentioned in it. Addressing the program after releasing the manifesto, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the five guarantees of Mahavikas Aghadi for Maharashtra are for the welfare of the public. We fulfill every guarantee we made to the public, but still Narendra Modi makes fun of us. I want to ask Modi ji, how many of your guarantees have you fulfilled in 10 years? You said that you will give 15 lakh rupees in people’s accounts, will provide two crore jobs every year… but you did nothing for anyone, just lied to the public.

He said that the promises we made were fulfilled. Karnataka government gave a budget of Rs 52 thousand crore to fulfill the guarantee. Out of this budget, 47 percent money has been spent for the public. People from all over the country come to Mumbai to earn, but today the situation is such that people are troubled. People of Maharashtra are selling their lands. The investment coming to Mumbai is shifting to other states, for which only the NDA government of Maharashtra is responsible.
He attacked BJP and PM Modi by mentioning the Pune Ring Road Scam, Samriddhi Mahamarg Scam, Jalyukt Shivar Scam, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue Scam, Dharavi Re-Development Scam and Ambulance Purchase Scam. He said that Modi does not know how to do good, strong and quality work. Modi’s work is only about scam.
These are the five guarantees
1. Mahalaxmi: Financial assistance of ₹3000 per month for women and free bus service for women and girls.
2. Guarantee of equality: Caste wise census will be conducted, the limit of 50 percent reservation will be removed.
3. Family protection: Health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh and free medicines.
4. Agricultural prosperity: Loan waiver of farmers up to ₹ 3 lakh and incentive of ₹ 50000 on regular loan repayment.
5. Youth: Assistance up to ₹ 4000 per month to unemployed youth.
