Maharashtra Election 2024: In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth, Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati has surprised everyone by giving his support and blessings to the Mahayuti alliance of BJP and Shinde Sena. Swami Avimukteshwaranand, who has been attacking the BJP and Modi government on various issues, said that the Shinde government of Maharashtra has strengthened their movement by giving the status of Mother Cow to the state. In such a situation, the people of Maharashtra should give this government a chance once again. Our blessings are with the Shinde government in the Maharashtra assembly elections.

Swami Avimukteshwarananda said this after worshiping the cow at Srividya Math in Kedar Ghat, Varanasi on the occasion of Gopashtami. He said that in the religious texts like Vedas and Upanishads of Sanatan Dharma, the cow has been given the status of a mother and not an animal, but in the laws of India, mother cow has been insulted as an animal. Even after so many years of getting independence, our mother is being cut and sold.
He said that due to the involvement of governments in this work, the Hindu society is taking the sin of murder upon itself, even without wanting to. He also put the central and state governments in the dock for this. He said that he is not a supporter of any political party or government. Whichever political party or government will ban the killing of mother cow and declare mother cow as the mother of the state, Sanatan Samaj and my blessings will be with it.
People of Maharashtra should support Shinde government
Swami Avimukteshwaranand said that neither we talk about Congress nor about Bharatiya Janata Party. Whichever party takes steps for cow protection, my support will be with that party. We will accept only that personality or ideology which will be dedicated to the protection of mother cow. Swamy said that Maharashtra is the first state which has given the status of State Mother to Mother Cow. For this reason we are with the Maharashtra government and bless it for victory. The people of Maharashtra should once again give Shinde government a chance to come to power.
Advocacy of not allowing entry of people of non-religion in Kumbh
Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth has also given a big statement regarding the entry of people of non-religion in the Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj. He said that entry of people of non-religious religion should be restricted there. He said that the biggest pilgrimage site of Muslims is Mecca Sharif and people of non-religious religion are stopped there 40 kilometers in advance.
Kumbh is an event related to the tradition of Hindus and Muslims have no work there. In such a situation, there is no point in allowing Muslims entry there. Anyway, no such demand has been made from the Muslim side. Only political parties are trying to make the matter controversial by raising such an issue. He made a big announcement and said that if the Uttar Pradesh government gives the status of Mother Cow till the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, then we will give everything in her name.
