Maharashtra Election 2024: After the dispute that broke out between NCP (Sharad Pawar) and NCP (Ajit Pawar) i.e. uncle and nephew during Maharashtra elections, now another entry has been made. Actually, Sharad Pawar has fielded his grandson from Baramati seat against his nephew Ajit Pawar. Politicians are calling it uncle-nephew war-2, because now Ajit Pawar and his nephew Yugendra are face to face from Baramati seat.
Sharad Pawar faction-led NCP leader Yugendra Pawar has filed his nomination from Baramati seat. During this time Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule were also with him. After the nomination, Sharad Pawar said that Yugendra Pawar has studied abroad. Apart from being highly educated, he is also young. I am confident that the people here will accept the youth leadership. He said that the party is with Yugendra. At the same time, Yugendra Pawar said that the most experienced leader Pawar Saheb (Sharad Pawar) is standing behind me. Therefore, there is no challenge before me, I have full confidence in the public.
Why fielded a candidate from the family?
After the nomination of nephew Yugendra Pawar, NCP chief Ajit Pawar attacked uncle Sharad Pawar. He said that I have made mistakes, but now other people in the family are also making the same mistakes. He said that he should not have fielded his candidate against me. I had come to know that Saheb (Sharad Pawar) had instructed someone to file nomination against me, but did not know that the candidate would be from the family itself. This should not have been done. He said that Saheb has created division in the family. It doesn’t take even a moment to break a family, but it takes generations to unite it. He said that politics should not be brought to a low level.
Yugendra is the son of elder brother
Let us tell you that Yugendra Pawar is the son of Ajit Pawar’s elder brother Srinivas. The relationship that Ajit Pawar had with his uncle Sharad Pawar is the same relationship that Yugendra Pawar has with his uncle Ajit Pawar.
