Maharashtra Election: After voting ended on Wednesday in Maharashtra, the counting of votes to be held on November 23 is now eagerly awaited. Most of the exit polls have shown the ruling Mahayuti ahead but the leaders of the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance are confident of their victory. Even before the announcement of election results, a tussle has started among MVA leaders for the post of Chief Minister.
There has been a sharp reaction from the Uddhav Sena after Congress state president Nana Patole claimed to form a government under the leadership of Congress. Senior leader of Uddhav faction Sanjay Raut has clearly said that we will not accept this.
The leadership of the government will be in the hands of Congress
After the completion of voting in Maharashtra, State Congress President Nana Patole has given a big statement. He said that this time the government will be formed in Maharashtra under the leadership of Congress only. He said that the voting trends and response from the people have made it clear that most of the Congress candidates will win this election. No one should have any doubt that this time only Mahavikas Aghadi will form the government in Maharashtra. He said that I believe that only Congress will get the leadership of this government.
There has already been a demand from Patole’s supporters in Maharashtra to make him the Chief Minister. Even before the elections, his supporters had raised slogans in this regard, on which Patole said that the decision in this regard would be taken by the party high command only. Now it has become clear from the latest statement given by him that in case of MVA’s victory, Patole will stake claim for the post of Chief Minister. However, this is not considered an easy task.
Sanjay Raut said- We will not accept this
After this statement given by Patole, a sharp reaction has come from the Uddhav Sena. Senior Uddhav Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that I will not accept it and no one will accept it. He said that we will sit together and only then a decision will be taken in this regard. He asked whether Nana Patole has the command of Congress that he is making such statements. The Uddhav Sena leader said that everything about the next government will be decided later. If Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge had told Nana Patole that you will become the CM, then they should announce this.
There has been a dispute between the two leaders earlier also
However, despite being leaders of allies, the relationship between Nana Patole and Sanjay Raut has not been smooth. There have been disputes between the two leaders in the past also. After the defeat of Congress in the Haryana Assembly elections, a sharp statement was given by Sanjay Raut. Nana Patole had retaliated regarding this statement. He said that I do not know on what basis Sanjay Raut has spoken and written, but you cannot make such allegations against the alliance publicly.
The interesting thing is that the results of Maharashtra assembly elections have not been declared yet. In such a situation, it is not yet certain that only the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance will win. Even before the announcement of the results, the fight for the post of CM has started. It is clear from this that if the alliance wins then the decision regarding the post of CM will not be easy.
