Along with him, Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and NCP leader Ajit Pawar will take oath as Deputy Chief Minister. However, meanwhile, there is talk that Eknath Shinde is adamant about the Home Ministry. On this, future CM Devendra Fadnavis has assured to talk to the high command. Earlier, during the press conference, Eknath Shinde had said that whether he will join the government or not, he will tell by this evening. However, Eknath Shinde agreed to take oath.
Political activity has intensified before the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister in Maharashtra. However, it has been decided that Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as Chief Minister and Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar will take oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. Sources said that CM Eknath Shinde will take oath as Deputy CM only when he is given the Home Ministry. Meanwhile, there was a discussion between Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde for about an hour. During this, Fadnavis has assured to talk to the high command. It is being told that along with the agreement, the ministries have also been divided between the three parties involved in the Grand Alliance – BJP, Shiv Sena – Eknath Shinde, NCP – Ajit Pawar. Home Ministry will remain with BJP.
Swearing in ceremony will be held tomorrow
The name of Devendra Fadnavis was approved in the legislative party meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday. After this, along with Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and NCP leader Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis reached Raj Bhavan and met Governor CP Radhakrishnan and staked claim to form the government. After this, during a conversation with journalists, Devendra Fadnavis said that we met the Governor and submitted a letter of support to stake claim to form the government. The Governor has invited us to the oath taking ceremony tomorrow at 5.30 pm.
During this he said that the post of CM is technical, all three of us together will take a decision on it. He further said that Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar have put forward my name for the post of CM. He said that all three of us will work together for the development of the state and will try to live up to the public trust.

At the same time, NCP leader Ajit Pawar said that we are going to take oath tomorrow, now Eknath Shinde ji has to take a decision.
