Maharashtra Politics: 'Whatever decision PM Modi takes, we will accept it', said Eknath Shinde amidst suspense on the post of CM. News Track in Hindi

Maharashtra Politics: Amidst the ongoing suspense regarding the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made a big announcement on Wednesday. He said that whatever decision the BJP top leadership, PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah take, it is acceptable to him. He claimed that there is no obstacle in forming the government.

Acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that I have never considered myself a Chief Minister, I have always worked as a worker. CM means common man, I worked thinking this…we should work for the people. He said that I have seen the pain of the citizens, how they have run their households.

He said that whatever decision Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes, we will accept it. He said that there is no hindrance from my side while forming the government. He said that the public has supported Mahayuti. He said that the state has to be taken towards development. He said that just as Modi ji has brought glory to the country in the whole world, he has built relations with the countries of the world. Maharashtra should also take advantage of it. There is no hindrance in forming the government, whatever decision the top leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party takes, it is acceptable to Shiv Sena.

Central and state government will work together

He said that after this victory, the responsibility of Mahayuti has increased. Central and state governments will work together. We have to take the state forward. He said that we have also talked to PM Modi. We have also told them that whatever decision is taken, our support is with it.

Let us tell you that Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP’s) Devendra Fadnavis are considered to be the top contenders for the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra. However, no official decision has been taken yet. Many Shiv Sena leaders have supported Eknath Shinde, who resigned from the post of Maharashtra CM, to remain the Chief Minister. However, the final decision is expected to be taken by Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis and NCP leader Ajit Pawar after consulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Mahayuti has got an overwhelming majority in the recently held assembly elections. The grand alliance (BJP, Shiv Sena – Eknath Shinde and NCP – Ajit Pawar) won the Maharashtra elections by winning 235 out of 288 seats, of which BJP won 131 and Shiv Sena and NCP won 57 and 41 seats respectively.
