Mainpuri News: The Mainpuri police have achieved great success by arresting three members of the gang who cheated through online gaming. Ankush Yadav, Shivam Yadav and Arun Yadav were arrested in joint action of Kotwali police, SWAT team and cyber team. These accused used to lure poor people and open bank accounts with their documents and then keep passbooks, checkbooks and ATM cards of those accounts with them.

Additional Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh said that the accused used to cheat people using mobile games like ‘Teen Patti’, ‘Aviator’ and ‘Bet 69’. Initially, by showing the victory of less money, he would convince and then defeat them after investing a large amount. The amount of fraud was put in fake bank accounts and withdrawn through UPI and ATM.
Goods recovered from the accused
During the arrest, the police recovered 7 mobiles, 5 ATM cards, a laptop and other material from the accused. Investigation revealed that there was a transaction of about 60 lakh 56 thousand rupees from his accounts. These people opened about 40 fake bank accounts, out of which 6 accounts have been freeze by banks. Ramdulare Sharma, a victim, said that the accused Arun made an identity during his wages and opened the account and kept all the banking material related to it. A case was registered in Mainpuri on this basis. In the police interrogation, the accused admitted that they had been carrying out this fraud for the last two years and distributed the cheated amount among themselves. At present, the police have sent the three accused to jail and the entire network is under investigation.
