Tonk accident: 8 children died by drowning in water while bathing near the Fraser Bridge near the Banas river near Banas River in Tonk. A total of 11 children went to bathe in the river. Suddenly, due to going into deep water, the children started drowning one by one. Some children were immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of local people. The injured children are undergoing treatment at Saadat Hospital in Tonk. A large crowd has gathered outside the hospital. The families of the children are very upset and crying. The administration and police have also reached the spot and rescue work is going on. All people are saddened by this accident.
8 youths who went to picnic due to drowning, 3 continue to be treated
A group of 11 youths who came from Jaipur for a picnic landed in the river to bathe. Suddenly they went into deep water. Tonk Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan said that three of these youths were rescued and their condition is now stable. When the remaining eight youths were taken out of the water and rushed to the hospital, the doctors declared them dead. The SP said that the age of the dead is between 25 and 30 years. At present, the dead are being identified and their family members are being informed. The police is investigating the accident.
Accident took place in Jaipur last month
Earlier in May, one such tragic accident took place in a village in Jaipur. Four people died due to drowning in a pond near a farm in Dhani village of Kakadian in Dudu area. According to the police, a girl named Kamlesh Devi first landed in the pond to bathe and slipped and drowned. To save him, Vinod Kumar, Rameshwari and Hema Bavaria also jumped into the water, but all four drowned. Friends nearby immediately went to the village and informed the people. The rescue operation started with the help of the villagers and after about three hours the bodies of all were evacuated from the pond. Police said the four young men and women were residents of the same village.
