Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s election campaign for Haryana Assembly elections has been cancelled for Monday. According to the information, he has been advised to take rest and hence he will not be able to attend the rally. Kharge was scheduled to address two election meetings in Ambala city and Gharaunda in Karnal district on Monday.
A party leader said, “The Congress president is unable to travel today as he has been advised to take rest. Both the public meetings in Haryana (which Kharge was to address) will be addressed by state leaders.” Voting for the 90-member Haryana Assembly will be held on October 5. The counting of votes will take place on October 8.
There was news that Kumari Selja may once again be seen on the Congress stage with Kharge. Sources say that she met Kharge on Sunday evening. She expressed her displeasure. Kharge asked for a day or two to resolve their issues. According to reports, Kumari Selja also said that if the matter is resolved, she will start campaigning.
