The court has given a big order regarding the illegal construction of a mosque in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The decision given by the Municipal Corporation Court on September 13 regarding the demolition of the mosque has been stayed by the court of the Principal Secretary of TCP in Shimla. The next hearing in the court of TCP Principal Secretary in this matter has been scheduled for October 20. A copy of these orders has also reached the Municipal Corporation of Mandi. Municipal Corporation Commissioner HS Rana has confirmed this. He told that the decision given by him has been put on hold and no action can be taken on it till further orders from higher officials. Action will be taken as per the orders received in the coming time.
At the same time, reaction of Hindu organizations has also come to light on the decision of TCP Court. Ghanshyam Thakur, a member of the state working committee of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti, has appealed to the TCP court for Hindu organizations to also present their side. He said that we have all the documents and we should also get a chance to present our side.
Talking about this, Thakur said that Hindu organizations will wait for the hearing to be held on October 20. If the decision is not in their favor then they have prepared to go to court. Even if we have to resort to the path of struggle to demolish illegal construction, we will not step back from it. He has also reminded the Muslim community of his promise in which he had said that he would demolish the illegal construction himself. They say that illegal construction should be demolished at all costs.
