A shocking incident of gang rape has come to light in Chhattisgarh’s Sakti district. It is said that a girl was gang raped by her relatives in Basantpur village of Dabra police station area of the district. As soon as the villagers got to know about the incident, they reached the spot. They caught three drunk accused on the spot. After this, the accused were handed over to the police. The police arrested the accused and sent them to jail.
According to news agency Univarta, the victim is mentally weak. The accused took advantage of this weakness of the victim. All three accused were drunk. They first lured the girl to an empty house and gang-raped the victim there. The villagers got wind of this. Angry people reached the spot and caught the accused. The accused handed over all three to the police.
The names of the accused are Madan Mali, Ganeshi Mali and Botlal Mali. All three are said to be relatives of the girl. It is said that all three threatened the girl and forcibly took her to an abandoned house. The accused gang-raped the girl. Dabhra police got all the accused medically examined and investigated the incident. After this, all were sent to jail.
Recently, a case of rape of a minor girl student was reported in Jashpur. The minor victim left for school on her bicycle on the morning of 30th August. She had also made her brother sit on the bicycle. On the way, a person riding a motorcycle told the victim that she has been selected in sports and has to go to Jashpur. Her teacher is calling her in school. The accused made the victim sit on his motorcycle and raped her in the nearby forest.
The accused had threatened the victim that if she told anyone about the incident, he would kill her. The accused left the victim near the school and fled. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the Superintendent of Police formed an SIT. The victim had told only four digits of the bike registration.
On this basis, the police gathered information from nearby showrooms and vehicle dealers. After questioning the showrooms and vehicle dealers, the description of the accused matched with a person from village Chidora. SIT reached village Chidora and took Salim Sai into custody. During interrogation, accused Salim confessed to the crime. The motorcycle used in the incident, Pulsar CG 14 MR 6259, was seized. Accused Salim (30) was arrested on Sunday and sent to jail.
