Congress on Monday alleged that a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in Gujarat has disappeared after taking Rs 6000 crore of people’s money in the name of investment. Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee President Shakti Singh Gohil said that the matter should be investigated by CBI (Central Investigation Agency) under the supervision of a Supreme Court judge. Gohil said that apart from this, BJP should answer what relations its leaders have with this person. However, there is currently no reaction from BJP on the allegations of the Congress leader.
Gohil told reporters, “Become a member of BJP, then get the license to loot and corruption.” Bhupendra Jhala, a BJP leader, formed a company and ran a scheme to give money and take back double the amount in two years. Farmers, poor, pensioners got influenced by his words and they all invested Rs 6,000 crore in his scheme. That BJP leader disappeared after taking Rs 6,000 crore from the general public.
NEET paper leaked from Gujarat itself
Gohil claimed that Gujarat was also the focal point of the NEET paper leak and a person associated with the BJP was caught. Gohil said that Bhupendra Jhala’s photographs are with many senior BJP leaders and many leaders of the ruling party had attended one of his programs. While sharing the video of Shakti Singh Gohil, the Congress party’s Twitter handle wrote, “We demand that this entire matter should be investigated by the CBI through the sitting judge of the Supreme Court. BJP should answer in this matter that their big leaders should support it.” What is the relation? Didn’t the IB tell you that this person has defrauded people of Rs 6,000 crore?”
Congress wrote in another tweet, “This is Bhupendra Jhala. Wearing BJP’s cap and belt, wearing a cap worth Rs. 6 thousand crores to the public, he is missing. Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, BJP State President etc. There are pictures of this, in which big leaders of BJP came as guests. No common man would consider it a fraud at the time of elections. Were, I will not let even a single thief be left out. The people of the country thought that they will put everyone in jail. But what they meant was – I will not let even a single thief be left out, I will include everyone in BJP.” (Input- PTI language)
