This time the monsoon will be very good. There will be 98 to 106% rainfall in the south-west during the monsoon. The current situation will not affect the monsoon.
Monsoon coming 4 days ahead of schedule
The Meteorological Department said on Saturday that this time the monsoon can reach the country 4 days before the scheduled time. The southwest monsoon will reach Kerala coast on 27 May. It usually reaches Kerala on 1 June. On Saturday, many districts including Kot and Bharatpur in Rajasthan received rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of storm and rain in 30 districts today. A warning of storm, rain and thunderstorms has been issued throughout Madhya Pradesh.
This will be the first time in 16 years
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the South-West monsoon will reach Kerala coast on 27 May. It usually reaches Kerala on 1 June. According to the Meteorological Department, if the monsoon arrives on May 27, it will be the first time in 16 years that it will come so soon. In 2009, the monsoon reached Kerala on May 23 and Kerala on 30 May in 2024. In addition, the monsoon arrived on 29 May in 2018.
