The Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh has announced to give Rs 1 crore each and a government job to the Paralympic winners.

The Madhya Pradesh government on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 1 crore and a government job for the state’s Paralympic medal winners. After felicitating three Paralympic players at the BJP office, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav told reporters that India has made remarkable progress in the Olympics and Paralympics. He said that we have announced a reward of Rs 1 crore for Olympic medal winners and now for Paralympic medal winners too, we are announcing a reward of Rs 1 crore and a government job for them. The names of the players who won medals from Madhya Pradesh in the Paralympics are Pooja Ojha, Prachi Yadav and Kapil Parmar.
CM Mohan Yadav tweeted on Twitter that today in a program organized under ‘Seva Pakhwada’ at the state BJP office in Bhopal, Paralympic players who have brought pride to the country and Madhya Pradesh on the global stage were honored. May all of you touch new heights of success with your unwavering discipline, hard work and excellent performance, keep making Mother India proud with medals, this is my best wishes.
The names of the players who won medals from Madhya Pradesh in the Paralympics are Pooja Ojha, Prachi Yadav and Kapil Parmar. Along with them, India has won a total of 29 medals in this year’s Paralympic Games. Out of these, 7 gold, 9 silver and 13 bronze medals were won. Let us tell you that in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, India had the most successful performance in its history. Because in the last Paralympic Games held in Tokyo in the year 2020, India won 19 medals.
