MPDA Hike: Before the Diwali festival, Madhya Pradesh government has given an increase in dearness allowance to the state employees. Madhya Pradesh government has announced to increase the dearness allowance of employees from 46 percent to 50 percent. An official of MP government has given this information. This increase in dearness allowance of employees will be effective from January 1, 2024.
While talking to reporters, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the happiness of Diwali has doubled due to the increase in Dearness Allowance. He also congratulated all the state employees. He said that this happiness has also doubled because the dearness allowance of the employees has been increased on the occasion of Diwali and the foundation day of the state on November 1. Madhya Pradesh was formed on 1 November 1956.
Chhattisgarh state was formed on this date in the year 2000. Chief Minister Shri Yadav said that the Finance Department has approved 46 percent dearness allowance in the order dated March 14, 2024. It is effective from July 1, 2023 and the outstanding amount will be paid in installments. Now all the government employees of Madhya Pradesh will be paid 50 percent dearness allowance from January 1, 2024.
Along with the announcement of increase in dearness allowance, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated everyone on Diwali festival. He appealed that everyone should take care of themselves on the occasion of Diwali festival. Also take care of the people around you. May there be joy in the poor man’s eyes also. 46 percent dearness allowance is being given from July 2023
From July 2023, dearness allowance at the rate of 46 percent is being paid to more than seven lakh government employees of Madhya Pradesh. Dearness allowance of fifth and sixth pay scale employees has also been increased at the same rate. The arrears due between July 2023 and February 2024 were distributed in three equal installments. Along with this, Dearness Allowance relief for pensioners of Madhya Pradesh was increased from March 2024. But arrears were not given.
