MP News : A major accident took place in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, where a truck crushed an auto rickshaw carrying passengers at Samanna Tiraha. Seven people died in this accident, while three people are said to be injured. The injured were immediately sent to Jabalpur Medical College for treatment, their condition is said to be critical. Meanwhile, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
According to the information, this accident happened at the trisection of Samanna village of Dehat police station area on Damoh-Katni State Highway. Here a speeding truck hit an auto filled with passengers and crushed them and went away. In this accident, seven people died on the spot, while three people are said to be injured. This accident was so terrible that the auto was blown to pieces. At the same time, the local people who reached the spot informed the police and took the injured to the nearest hospital, where the injured were referred to the district hospital considering their condition critical.
The injured were sent to medical college under the corridor
On receiving information about the accident, DM Sudhir Kumar Kochar and SP Shuratkirti Somvanshi also reached the spot. He said that considering the critical condition of the injured, they have been sent to Jabalpur Medical College under a corridor. A follow vehicle has also been sent along with the ambulance, so that the road is not obstructed and their treatment can be started immediately.
The dead have not been identified yet
SP said that the dead in the accident are being identified, it is not yet known where they were from. At the same time, the condition of the injured is so serious that they are not able to tell anything. Police is trying to find out how the accident happened. The driver of the auto is also injured, he has also been sent for treatment.

Police said that the name of the truck driver is Neeraj Singh Lodhi, he is a resident of Buxwaha in Chhatarpur district. He has been taken into custody. Police tried to interrogate him, but he is not in a position to say anything due to excessive intoxication. Police has sent the driver to the hospital for medical examination.
