A young man was beaten to death on Monday in Dindoshi police station area of Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. The deceased youth has been identified as Akash. Police said that Akash had a dispute with some people over overtaking the vehicle. During this time some people started beating him on the road itself. Within no time a crowd gathered there and some other people in the crowd also started assaulting him.
The young man’s elderly mother and father kept begging for mercy with folded hands, but the ruthless mob did not listen to a single word. Not only this, to save the son, the mother lay down on him. Despite this, people kept beating the young man. In the viral video on social media, it can be clearly seen that people have beaten up the elderly father who was folding his hands. Ruthless people beat the young man so much that he died on the spot. This incident also raised serious questions on the police administration. It is being told that if the police had reached the spot, perhaps the young man’s life could have been saved. At the same time, Mumbai Police has arrested nine accused in this case and started investigation.
