GSRTC has canceled the registrations of 27 hotels.
Ahmedabad: Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has canceled the licenses of some hotels being run under the guise of Hindu names. According to reports, these hotels were either named Hindu or the name of a Hindu owner was being used to run them. Now the buses of State Transport Corporation i.e. GSRTC will not stop at these hotels. Let us tell you that in the last one year, GSRTC had prepared a list of such hotels in which Hindu names were used, or in some cases, the hotel had the name of a Hindu as the owner but it was being run by people from the Muslim community.
Action on Hotel Tulsi, Hotel Maruti also
It is being told that this step has been taken for transparency and proper operation of hotels. The hotels whose registrations have been canceled include Swazi Inn, Hotel Vishal, Hotel Basera and Hotel Satimata located on Ahmedabad-Surat Road in Vadodara division. Apart from this, the names of Hotel Tulsi, Hotel Maruti, Hotel Diamond and Hotel Raunak located on Surat-Ahmedabad road under Bharuch division are also included among those hotels whose registrations have been cancelled. Apart from this, the registration of Hotel Shivshakti falling on Bhuj-Dhragandhra-Ahmedabad road under Rajkot division has also been cancelled.

Licenses of total 27 hotels canceled
GSRTC has also canceled the registration of hotels named Kismat Kathiawadi (Delol) and Hotel Vrindavan falling under Godhra division. At the same time, in Palanpur division, the registrations of Hotel Gurukripa, Hotel Relief and Hotel Raunak have been canceled by GSRTC. The hotels whose registrations have been canceled include Hotel Tulsi on Sansroad, Hotel Mansi on Unjha-Mehsana Highway, Hotel Shreeji on Nadiad Kheda and Hotel Sarvodaya & Rooms on Rajkot-Chotila Highway. According to the list received, GSRTC has canceled the licenses of a total of 27 hotels.
